How long your YETI® Roadie keeps ice frozen depends on many factors. On an average day, a Roadie® keeps ice frozen from sun up till sun down. Exact times depend on variables such as the ice quality, ice quantity, type of ice, environment, and exposure to the sun. What doesn’t change is that our Roadie® Cool Boxes are industry-leading for ice retention. For added protection, pre-chill your cooler and grab a few of our Ice Sheets.

The YETI® Roadie 24 has a 24-litre capacity. If you’re packing drinks, it fits 33 cans or 11.8kg of ice. We recommend using a 2:1 ice-to-contents ratio by volume. Because of the tall design, you can easily fit most standard 750ml wine bottles or two-litre soft drink bottles standing upright, alongside an Ice Sheet or an Ice Block.


Packing food? Our Medium Cool Box Basket fits snuggly within the Roadie® 24, keeping your food and ice separate.

The YETI® Roadie 15 has a 15-litre capacity. If you’re packing drinks, it fits 22 cans or 7.4kg of ice. We recommend using a 2:1 ice-to-contents ratio by volume. You can fit most standard 750ml wine bottles or two-litre soft drink bottles on their side, alongside a Small Ice Sheet.

Yes, the Roadie® 24 has a BestDam™ Drain Plug. It’s leakproof when closed and keeps ice, water, and cold secured inside your Roadie® Wheeled Cooler. And when you're back from adventuring, unscrew the plug for fast-draining convenience.
