COCKTAIL SHAKER FAQ
Are the lid and Rambler® Tumbler dishwasher safe?
Yes, all components are. No one needs more work to do.
Can I use it for hot and cold drinks?
The cup is insulated for both hot and cold drinks, but make sure to use the cocktail shaker for cold drinks only. Hot liquids will cause pressure to build inside the vessel causing the cap to leak or eject creating a scald hazard.
Are Rambler® products BPA free?
Yes. All YETI® Drinkware is BPA free.
Can I get my cocktail shaker personalised?
No, not at the moment.
Is there a warranty on my YETI® Drinkware?
Yes. All of our stainless-steel drinkware comes with a 5-year warranty. For more details, see our Warranty Information.
Can I drink directly out of the lid?
It's possible but we recommended using the cocktail shaker lid only for pouring.
What other Rambler® products are compatible with the cocktail shaker lid?
I already own a compatible cup, can I purchase the cocktail shaker lid by itself?
Yep. You can purchase the cocktail shaker lid on its own.
Can I purchase a replacement cap without purchasing the entire cocktail shaker lid accessory?
Nope. The cocktail shaker lid can’t be purchased in parts.
When used properly, is it leakproof?
No, it’s leak resistant for you to shake without splashes.
Can I use it with carbonated beverages?
No. Shaking carbonated beverages will cause pressure to build in the vessel, which may cause the lid to eject and result in leaks or spills.
Is dry ice compatible for steaming cocktails?
Nope, not for drinkware.
Will highly acidic beverages damage the stainless steel?
You may see some staining in your drinkware with highly acidic beverages.
Are smaller or larger sizes available?
Not at the moment.
Is it rust resistant?
Yes. They’re made with kitchen-grade 18/8 stainless steel, so they’re puncture and rust resistant.
What’s the right way to put the lid on when the cap is assembled?
Sometimes air can get trapped while assembling the cap, preventing the lid from easily being placed. To release the air, remove the threaded cap, and when assembling, put the lid first and then the cap.
Is the lid vacuum insulated?
No, the accessory lid and cap are double-wall, air-filled insulation.
